Alabama Judge wears robe with Ten Commandments

Another crazed case of religous extremism in the court system in Alabama. The judge, Ashley McKathan, states that the robe is appropriate for his courtroom because it represents the truth stating, "you can't divorce the law from the truth. ... The Ten Commandments can help a judge know the difference between right and wrong." Right and wrong are one thing, and the Ten Commandments are undoubtely a representation of that, but it is not a court of moral truth, it is a court of law. The last time I checked, our laws are not based on the ten commandments. Just another crazy judge looking for a little publicity in Alabama......
